Commit
to your own self-healing and development. Having a clearer understanding of
yourself and how healing works will enable you to work with more
understanding of your client. Included in this is the need to regularly
carry out self-reflexology treatments in order to better understand the
benefits and/or swap treatments with a fellow student |
 |
Carry
out home study – whilst this will vary with each individual I would
anticipate the need to spend about 7 hours per week in study, including practical reflexology work. The course is intensive and it is very
important to keep up-to-date with all the work. |
 |
Complete
all home assignments and homework set within the timetables allocated. In
the early part of the course there is a lot of theory work with the balance
shifting to more practical work as the course progresses. |
 |
Read
widely and broadly on the subject of reflexology and other associated
subjects. |
 |
Carry
out the required recorded reflexology treatments and case studies. |
 |
Attend
all the teaching weekends. One day’s teaching (7 hours) is a lot of work
and whilst much of the theory can be done individually, it is very difficult
to catch up on any missed practical work, especially in the early part of
the course. Prompt arrival at classes will also be expected. You will also
be required to attend three tutorials held at quarterly intervals. |
 |
Pay
all fees on time. |
 |
Act
as a ‘client’ during in-class teaching sessions. |
 |
Provide
your own files, folders and stationery as required, plus 2 large towels, 2
pillows and a blanket. |
